During a quick trip home to MN from St. Louis, Kate and James were able to squeeze in some pretty adorable maternity pictures! I have had the pleasure of photographing their engagement and wedding portraits, and now there is a baby on the way! Although, some might say this is the second baby… Kate and James brought along their adorable and HUGE first baby Bruce! Bruce obliged us by being the perfect pup model in exchange from some treats. I can’t wait to meet Baby K! I’m sure Bruce will be a perfect pup-brother!
Molly and Brandon’s intimate Como Conservatory wedding was as sweet as can be. Surrounded by close family and friends, the couple exchanged their handwritten vows and I think more than a couple of tears were shed. The gloomy weather outside didn’t matter amongst the conservatories gorgeous flowers. It wouldn’t have mattered anyway – I think Molly’s smile could have lit up any room. Congratulations Molly and Brandon! I loved being part of your beautiful day!
Dawn and Andy were married at the beautiful Bear Path country club in Eden Prairie. Somehow, the forecasted rain held off all day and the ceremony, pictures and cocktail hour were able to be outside! It was a wedding day miracle! We were able to take advantage of the perfect grounds around the clubhouse which made a perfect backdrop for portraits. If I had to name this wedding, I would call it Pretty in Pink! Dawn and Andy planned a soft and romantic day filled with elegant touches of pink. Candelabras embellished the tables and pink flowers were everywhere! It was hot and humid but you would never know if from their bridal portraits!
Congratulations Dawn and Andy!
Sarah and Jim’s wedding day was absolutely stunning! With family traveling to Minneapolis from Chicago and Ireland, the day felt extra fun, extra special, and very full of love. Jim and Sarah met in college and are clearly perfect for each other! Their only request was to make sure I got at least one picture of them both smiling at the camera – apparently they are serial silly picture takers. Silly or just really fun! The ceremony was held at Sarah’s home parish in Mendota and the reception was at the beautiful new Minneapolis Event Center on St. Anthony Main. There was an Irish band, Irish dancing (including the groom!) and regular announcements of the Blackhawks score. I think what made this wedding truly stand out was family. It was so obviously important to Sarah and Jim that their family was there and had a beautiful time in the bride’s hometown. It was also very clear the support and love their family gave this couple on their wedding day. Congratulation Sarah and Jim! Thank you for having me part of your day!
